Learning Outcomes

The studies aim at increasing and deepening the student’s ability to apply, synthesize and evaluate prior IBC learning in the context of a specific business, industry or discipline. The I&E Study is supervised business analysis work. It focuses on applying prior innovation and business knowledge and competences in a real business context. This course will allow students to tackle a business challenge with a robust explorative business analysis methodology.

In this course, students learn how to evaluate the impact of technology for a specific industry of interest, to analyze the current trends in an industry, and based on this to predict the impact of a technology in the business in the near future (10-20 years’ time). The course answers to questions such as: What is the potential business value of the technology I develop? How Internet of things (IoT) will influence the travel industry?, How mining industry will handle the digital transformation? etc.
