Teaching Methods
Sessions are organized as a workshop allowing for a collective discussion of the assumptions and strategies associated with writing decision backing documents, as well as a more tailored support of the work being developed by students.

- provide skills for writing decision backing documents
Specific learning outcomes and skills
- Develop research skills gathering relevant information for the topic under scrutiny
- Develop analytical skills of the context within which the decision is being taken
- Develop writing skills of different types of decision backing documents, such as policy briefs, memoranda, political analysis reports.

- Substantiation of the political recommendations in the decision backing document
- Writing of the executive summary of the document.
