Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies favored in the internship are:

- development, with autonomy and responsibility, of professional activities, within the scope of the internship and at the host institutions ;
- presentation, discussion and reflection of specific activities developed within the internship, to be held in seminars and supervision meetings.

Learning Outcomes

To provide students with the in-depth knowledge and development of skills necessary for analysis and intervention in the fields of Special Education, with different publics, in formal, non-formal and informal contexts, aiming to build communities and an inclusive society by ensuring that in the end they will be able to:

Characterise, understand and describe educational facts occurring in any context, involving children, young people and adults with special educational needs;

Design, plan, execute and evaluate special education projects, programmes and activities;

Use appropriate resources for the development of distance or mixed educational activities;

Participate in the design and implementation of public policies and in the management of systems and organisations of special/inclusive education.
