Teaching Methods

In this curricular unit an expository method is used, with the support of electronic visual media, the use of group work reading/discussion groups. To facilitate the participation of students topics and case studies are discussed.

The final assessment is based on fieldwork or synthesis.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge of nuclear concepts in the field of quality in health; to provide the necessary skills for the implementation of evaluations of quality in health services; to provide the skills and tools necessary for the promotion of internal audits at the level of clinical services and health institutions they integrate; incorporation of the concepts underlying the clinical governance and the continuous improvement of quality.

The concepts of quality will be addressed, in terms of the performance of services and health institutions aiming to provide skills for trainees, to their level of professional intervention, they are trained to intervene as "agents promoters of quality".
