Principles, procedures and legal and institutional framework.

The Environmental Impact Assessment of Projects (objectives, organization and phases of the process).

Environmental Impact Assessment methods (checklists, matrices, networks, thresholds, expert methods, spatial analysis methods, simulation models, indicators and indices).

Sectorial methodologies for the identification, prediction, evaluation and mitigation of the impacts in different biophysical and socio-economics factors.

Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment (Plans and Programs).

Case studies.
