Recommended Prerequisites

All course units belonging to the study plan of the Master on Fire Safety Engineering.

Teaching Methods

The student develops his work in an autonomous way, under the supervision and scientific guidance of the supervisor(s), developing a summary work in the field of Fire Safety Engineering (FSE). The thesis can be of numerical nature using computational tools or of experimental nature in the field of FSE.

At the end the student has to defend his thesis to a jury constituted for that purpose.

Learning Outcomes

The main goal of this unit is to perform a study or research about one subject related to the Fire Safety Engineering, together with the writing of a master thesis that shall describe all realized work. The student shall acquire deep lnowledge on the subject of the thesis.
