Teaching Methods

This course unit will be taught using continuous evaluation: presentation of contents, clearing of doubts, and supervision of tasks by the teachers; preparation, presentation, and discussion of tasks by the students. Experts will also be invited to deliver lectures.

Learning Outcomes

Further develop knowledge on the aspects and implications of different attitudes towards cultural heritage; on the assumptions and implications of several strategies for preserving, managing, and programming cultural heritage; on important deontological questions that should be discussed regarding the management and programming of cultural heritage; and on the potential and risks of correlating cultural heritage with scientific dissemination/cultural activities, with organizational culture/territorial differentiation, and with cultural leisure/tourism.

Acquisition of research, intervention, and evaluation skills regarding the correlation between cultural heritage, scientific dissemination and cultural activities, organizational culture and territorial differentiation, and cultural leisure/tourism.

Assessment Methods

Assessment
In addition to the mandatory evaluation elements — bibliographic and documentary research work (15 pages of text including footnotes), critical review (7 pages), presentation and discussion of a topic —, students are encouraged to participate in classes, write observation reports, and organize and participate in dialogue conferences and field trips, etc.: 100.0%
