Learning Outcomes

Students understand environmental problem as a central issue in identifying the efficient provision level of public goods and environmental quality. The students are in the position to discuss specific environmental policies and to evaluate their impact on different groups in the society. They are also able to interpret and discuss the results of selected empirical studies.

Dimension of the environmental problem, causes of the environmental problem, public goods and externalities, negotiations to internalize negative externalities, policies to tackle the environmental problem, international and multinational aspects of the environmental problem, discussion and assessment of environmental policies, environmental condition and economic growth, environmental policies and asymmetric information.
