Teaching Methods

The unit is organized in seminars presented by students on the progresses of their research and invited researchers. The students will have to attend the different seminars scheduled and participate in the respective debates. They will have to elaborate a work articulated with one of the topics addressed in the seminars.

Learning Outcomes

This course unit aims to encourage students to deepen a set of critical, reflexive and presenting skills based on their own project work for the dissertation, and do so in dialogue with other work-related resarch with the themes pf the master.

Syllabus

The syllabus of this unit consist of a series of seminars presented by invited researchers, from Portuguese and foreigners institutions, in order to raise awareness and discuss recent research in the field of Anthropology and related fields. The seminars are followed by discussions with the participation of the students. Students are also invited to present their work-in-progress.
