Recommended Prerequisites

This Course Unit is transverse to every other curricular units of the first and second semester of the 1st year of the Masters.

Teaching Methods

The following dimensions of teaching and learning will be considered:

a) Oral exposition / information of theoretical and practical contents by the teacher; debate and practices

b) Group work;

c) Project analysis;

d) Exercises of Knowledge application;

e) Tutorial support.

  Experts will be invited in relevant areas for some of the topics to be taught in the modules.

Learning Outcomes

General objectives:

Within the scope of theoretical-practical skills, we intend to:

1.1.Promote a holistic view of the principles inherent in the strategic rationality of social projects.

1.2. Discuss and problematize the processes inherent in the design, management, negotiation and evaluation of social programs and projects either as a result of a process of social learning or as a form of innovation, intervention and social entrepreneurship.

1.3. To prospect, identify and reflect on the various elements, phases, stages and constituent contents of the planning cycle, elaboration, management and evaluation of social programs and projects, as well as on the empirical tools that can be used in each of its phases.

Skills:

- Understand the logics, stages and requirements of design, implementation and evaluation of social programs and projects,

 - To reflect and to equate the dynamics and mechanisms of elaboration of innovative proposals of social intervention.
