Recommended Prerequisites

It is an integrative course therefore, students should have the basic knowledge provided by the frequency of the courses provided in the previous five semesters. Students should also be proficience in written English, so that they can carry out literature searches for the preparation and presentation of works of synthesis.

Teaching Methods

During the semester students will be part of a group of laboratory work, actively participating in the daily activities of the group and getting tutorials.

Learning Outcomes

In this course students will be housed in a group conducting scientific research and technical work in areas related to Biochemistry.

Students are expected to acquire a broad laboratorial education level, associated with the development of a scientific project. Besides learning technology, students are expected to acquire training in the identification, planning, analysis and presentation of scientific work in the field of biochemistry.

Syllabus

The program will be defined for each student, with the assistance of their supervisor and with the knowledge of the course coordinator, and will according to the different laboratorial activities of each research group.
