Teaching Methods

Tutorial supervision whose methodology will depend on the topic and the area. The process of teaching is based on reading and commentary of the thesis, which will take place in successive iterations of writing and rewriting. The evaluation is based on the public presentation and discussion of the writing project. The objectives defined for the course unit will be used as evaluation criteria for the writing project.

Learning Outcomes

1. To demonstrate ability to integrate the contents of the programme in the conceptualization of a research problem in the field of writing and creative practices;
2. To demonstrate ability for research in the field of creative writing practices and theories relevant to the topic of the MA thesis;
3. To demonstrate ability to critically analyze writing processes in specific textual genres;
4. To demonstrate ability to produce original reflections on a specific writing practice;
5. To demonstrate ability to produce research that deserves national or international dissemination in peer-reviewed publications.

Depending on the topic and domain chosen by the student. The specific contents for the project/dissertation/internship cannot be specified a priori since they  will depend on students' options. Thus, the nature of the project (fiction writing, theatre, poetry, digital forms, etc.,) or the dissertation (theories of creative writing, theories of writing processes, etc.) or internship (theater company, book publisher, audiovisual production company, etc.) will imply different syllabi.
