Teaching Methods

Theoretical classes will take place in a plenary class format from the presentation made by the teacher of subjects, the same being signaled in bibliography or contained in texts/articles; Theoretical-practical classes can take place in a plenary class situation with tke objective of resolution problems proposed or in a pavilion/track environment, with material available to students; The work in real context aims at observation on the ground, providinh direct contact withpractice in a real context. 

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit is oriented towards the development of advanced skills for the performance of the activity of Skating coach. Thus, at the end of the curricular unit, and of Specific Training I - Skating, which is related to this, the student must be able to answer a varied set of problems that are posed to the coaches of the spor, listed in the syllabus.

At the end of the course, students should be able to: understand the dynamics inherent in the training methodology of the skating modality in question; identify the competitive strategies of the modalities and associate them with the psychological skills that are inherent to it; recognize the importance of models of observation and performance evaluation for an adequate intervention in everyday situations.

The skating modalities have specific areas of knowledge that are based on common bases, we try in each one of them to develop the following themes: 1 - Methodology of training for each modality; 2- Competitive strategies of modalities; 3 - Psychological factores associated with income; 4. Model of observation and assessment of collective and individual sports performance; 5 -Cross-sectional and longitudinal studies in modality - Part II.
