Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit intends that the student:

- develop skills in the field of research methodology and the presentation and dissemination of results

- acquires transversal and interdisciplinary skills and knowledge in the field of geosciences

- relate and become familiar with practical cases of application of knowledge.

Syllabus

1 - Introduction to the topic; Research, communication and dissemination methodologies in geosciences

2 - Presentation and discussion of case studies, in a modular format, by professors of the institution or outside experts of recognized merit, for presentation of practical case studies;

3 - Research work in a specific context of knowledge, within the scope of the subject (each student will be guided in the use of the most diverse bibliography and databases, in order to obtain information that helps him to aquire the fundamental knowledge in this scientific area).
