Teaching Methods
Theoretical exposition classes, accompanied by the presentation of practical cases illustrating the application of knowledge. For evaluation, it is considered a final exam and synthesis work.
Learning Outcomes
The overall objective is for the student to understand the importance of a global and integrated approach to infrastructure rehabilitation. The following specific objectives are:
- Understand the degradation / deterioration phenomena of water supply and drainage systems.
- Know the main techniques for inspection of hydraulic infrastructures, and identify which ones are best suited for each situation.
- Know and understand the different rehabilitation techniques applicable in each situation.
Finally, it is intended that, in relation to the topics covered, students develop autonomous learning and critical thinking skills, as well as analysis and synthesis, oriented to the practical application of theoretical knowledge to solve problems.
