Recommended Prerequisites
Not applicable – the course is an introduction to organizational behavior and business ethics. Therefore, there are no specialized technical prerequesites.
Teaching Methods
Classes combine oral presentation with practival challenges/exercises. The contents are lectured in a practical and interactive way, with basis on case-study analysis.
Learning Outcomes
The general objective is to provide solid knowledge about the functioning of organizations and the relevance of ethics in behavior and decision-making in the business context.
Specifically, it is intended that students acquire and consolidate knowledge about the importance of the human factor for the success of organizations, the framework of people in organizations (culture, ethics, diversity, etc.) and the relevance of working relationships, group dynamics and leadership in business performance.
By the end of the course the students should have acquired the knowledge and tools necessary for the leadership and management of people and teams in organizations, assuming themselves as agents of change, in a framework of ethics, efficiency and innovation.
