Teaching Methods
Lectures of theoretical exposition, presentation and discussion of examples of practical application, problem solving, autonomous resolution. Orientation classes for the realisation of the project.
Learning Outcomes
Transmit the concepts and practices of Design, Planning, Operation and Management of Water Supply and Drainage.
Hydrological and hydraulical assessment and analysis of water resources availability.
Use of modern design computational tools, as well as methods and mechanisms for remote measurement, management and control.

Analysis, in working groups, of specific problems related to Hydraulic Engineering, namely Urban Hydraulics and evaluation of Water availability and potential uses.
Technical, economic and environmental sustainability in Urban Hydraulics infrastructures. Legal and Normative Framework. Urban Water Supply Systems (dynamic modelling, quality modelling, modelling, calibration). Urban Wastewater and Stormwater Drainage Systems (modelling and analysis of free surface flow, wastewater system installations).
Assessment of water availability and potential uses through hydrological analysis of a region.
Realization of a project work.
