Teaching Methods

The student should do research on a topic area of Engineering Physics in order to solve a problem proposed in an atmosphere of Engineering. The development of the project can be done in an entity external to the Department of Physics, according to an established protocol, but there is always a supervisor on the Department of Physics and a supervisor on the external entity. The project will be regularly monitored by the supervisors, with the student having to make a written report and an oral presentation on the work done. A presentation must also be made to non-specialists.

The program will depend on the area of the project chosen for the seminar. It is required that the subject addresses the state of the art at least in one specific area.
