Teaching Methods

Teaching methods include two hours a week of lectures and one hour of practical training. In the theoretical component there will be presentations by the instructor along with students' presentations and general discussion. In the practical component, specific intervention techniques will be presented and trained.

Learning Outcomes

1. To know the cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurotoxicity and neuroplasticity.

2. To understand the impact of neurotoxicity and neuroplasticity in psychopathology and psychotherapy

3. To identify the toxicity and neuroplasticity mechanisms associated with developmental tasks of the infant, child, adolescent, adult and aging adult.

4. To practice evidence-based psychotherapeutic strategies for facilitating each developmental task of and promoting neuroplasticity
