Learning Outcomes

In this course, the student will be included in a work team tasked with the execution of a research and development or a technical project, in areas related to Biomedical Engineering, in scientific, company or hospital environment.
Besides technological skills, students are expected to acquire a broad training and skills associated with the development and execution of a Biomedical Engineering project, such as:
- Being able to do the requirement analysis associated to a research and development project.
- Learn how to search the scientific and technical literature and interpret that literature critically.
- Being able to integrate knowledge acquired from various sources to understand a problem and propose a solution.
- Know how to compare experimental data with those predicted based on existing models.
