Theoretical explanation; Debates with guest researchers; Group work; Cultural products (such as cinema and / or music) as starting points for the analysis of human contexts.

Learning Outcomes

To understand the cultural roots of behavior;

Recognize the geographical, historical, social, cultural origins of each person in order to discuss frames of human interaction;

Reframe thinking tools to enable questioning community mental health problems;

Acknowledge the relationship between Human Rights and Multiculturalism;

Portugal as a multicultural country;

Recognize the importance of Psychology in defining the concept of Human Dignity and Cultural diversity;

Understand the intersection between politics, justice, ethics, religion, ideology and human development; Experience in interdisciplinary research.
