Teaching Methods

The syllabus will be taught in contact lectures with practical examples and discussion of the problems solved by the students. Whenever possible, the resolution of home problems or in classroom will be proposed to studants, aiming to promote a continued study.

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit aims the development of competences in the domain of Chemical Reactors Engineering with ideal behavior, aiming the analysis and design of homogeneous reactors, including reactional systems for kinetic parameters determination. In what regards the analysis of the behaviour of ideal chemical reactors, an introduction will be given to the case of the continuous tank strirred reactor.
