Teaching Methods

Classes with detailed exposition of the concepts and fundamental principles to Technical Drawing, namely the projection methods and the relevant international standards. Presentation of the principles of BIM and introduction to 3D modeling. Resolution of exercises followed by individual application by students using computational tools. The class will be held in a room equipped with one computer per student with CAD and BIM software.

Learning Outcomes

Acquisition of basic knowledge about Technical Drawing as the privileged communication language in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry, namely: (i) development of the ability to represent objects using standard projection methods, (ii) development of ability to produce and interpret Technical Drawings according to current relevant standards.
