Teaching Methods

Lectures on the history and present of the Civil Engineering and on the sustainability in engineering. Talks proffered by invited entities or individuals on topics related to the practice of the profession of Civil Engineer.

Learning Outcomes

The main goal is to make the students aware of the profession they have chosen and frame the activity of the civil engineeri within the environmental and sustainability . With that purpose, information will be provided on the evolution and development of the fundamentals of Civil Engineering and it will be sought to make the students conscientious of the scientific and professional challenges in each domain of Civil Engineering.

It is also intended that the student acquires initial knowledge related to the sustainability of engineering solutions and to its evaluation.
