Approval in the 1st semester of the cycle of studies.

Teaching Methods

The teaching method is based on tutorial guidance provided by the faculty member in charge. Such orientation, however, is parallel to and complemented by the thesis scientific advisor.

Learning Outcomes

Aiming at setting up both the preliminary and final research design. The study unit adopts a tutorial format allowing for the following of the steps leading towards the Thesis project. In particular, attention is paid to the research frame, as well as the methodological tools to be used and the clarification of the thesis main goals. In other words the study unit contributes towards the project’s final writing, which is also accopanied in Doctoral Seminar I and II.
