The elaboration of the thesis develops autonomously, with the regular support of tutorial sessions organized by the advisor.

Learning Outcomes

The objective of the thesis is to carry out an autonomous research in the field of economics, with students devoting themselves to the work of preparing the doctoral thesis. The students are accompanied by their supervisors who on a regular basis organize meetings, discuss the work developed and new possibilities for advancing with the research work. Field work or periods of investigation outside Portugal within the context of the thesis are previously agreed with the respective supervisors.
