Literature review and state of the art on a Biomedical Engineering theme not coinciding with the PhD project theme, for a written review paper and its oral presentation.

Configuration 2:
Attendance of advanced courses internal or external to the UC that fit in the training required by the student to conclude his/her study plan. These advanced courses aim the extensive learning of current and relevant topics in the specialization area where the student will carry out his/her PhD thesis.

Configuration 3

Internship (with agreement) in a company having a research and development department in the area of Biomedical Engineering.

Head Lecturer(s)

António Miguel Lino Santos Morgado

Assessment Methods

Assessment
For configuration 1, the evaluation is based on the written review paper and its oral presentation. For configuration 2, the evaluation depends on the selected advanced courses. For configuratio 3, the evaluation is based on the assessment of the student's performance during his/her internship: 100.0%

Bibliography

Para cada tópico abordado na disciplina será fornecida aos alunos uma lista de artigos de investigação.

For each topic to be addressed in the course, a list of research papers will be provided to the students.
