Teaching Methods
The course will have eight face-to-face sessions (3 hours each).
These sessions will combine oral exposition to introduce topics and update specific knowledge; case analysis (situated problems ou documents) and textual sources; either in group and individually, production work materials aiming its’ aplication in school setting; shared reflection and reasoning from problema solving.
The tasks to complete will end up in six written products (four individually) that form na individual portefólio, the base to students assessment.

Presentation of the course, its objectives, methodology, expected products and evaluation.
1. The possibilities for improving teaching through collaborative working arrangements, coupled with the need to articulate the curriculum vertically in each school;
2. Mentoring strategies and their functionality according to actual characteristics (of people, tasks and contexts);
3. The aims, areas of competence and students´ learning standards;
4. The essential learning in Physical Education - format and content, in each year of schooling;
5. The class plan - function, structure and fundamental content;
6. The specificity of the class plan and, consequently, the necessary prediction of differentiation options;
7. Diagnostic stage in an evaluation of a formative nature and respective operationalization.
