Teaching Methods

The theoretical sessions have a expostory format and are focused on a main theme. The theoretical pratical sessions are related to the teaching and representation of training models. During the semester the student will participate in observation sessions and practice in the follow-up of the training and competition process of Athletic team in the region.

Learning Outcomes

The program aims to further the the assumptions of professional intervention in modality sports, including the teaching Athletics.

At the end of the semester students should: 1. Understand the specific training methodology of Athletics; 2. Able to organize Atheletics activities and events.

The theoretical program includes: a. Speed and Relay Training; b. Middle Training with Young Athletes; c. The Training of Hurdles; d. Jumping Training; and. Trwos Training; f. Training the Race Walking in Young People; g. Training of Physical Condition in Young People; H. Youth Training Planning; i. Develop a Training Philosophy; j. Develop Skills for Training; k. Youth Development; l. Biomechanics.
