Teaching Methods
The course is face-to-face. Several activities of initiation to scientific research will be proposed, as well as several scientific publications of the field, which students will choose, study and develop, with the assistance of the supervisor. Students will present and discuss their works to a jury panel composed by their supervisors and two external members. The evaluation will be made through the students' fortnightly performance namely during an oral presentation (50%) followed by questions (50%). The classification will be attributed on a qualitative scale with 4 levels of approval (for courses of non-degree diplomas).
Learning Outcomes
The main objective of this course is to allow participants to use their previously acquired knowledge into the study, understanding and explanation of scientific works, to develop critical thinking, intellectual autonomy, the ability to autonomously acquire more knowledge, interaction with peers, and to be capable of carrying out short supervised research projects.

The main aim is to introduce the objectives of the project as well as the methodology that will be used.
