Teaching Methods
Theoretical-practical classes based on the exposition and discussion of the programmatic contents, serving the expositive method of framing only. In parallel, the heuristic method and active participation of the students will be promoted, motivated to apply the skills acquired through the analysis of practical examples and use of texts and other materials, fieldwork, in addition to the development of practical subjects, investigated and presented by the students.
Learning Outcomes
Recognize, analyze and problematize tourism as a complex, social and territorially unequal phenomenon, where exclusion factors and inclusion policies coexist.
Specifically, the student is expected to achieve the following competencies:
Understand the main concepts and terminologies associated with inclusive tourism
Analyze the historical evolution of tourism in its dialectic of exclusion / inclusion
Recognize and problematize different forms / processes of exclusion in tourism
Analyze forms of exclusion / inclusion in the perspective of tourist demand
Define and characterize inclusive tourist destinations
Analyze good practices, national and international, of inclusion in tourism
Develop initiatives / inclusion projects in the tourist praxis.
