Teaching Methods

The distance learning format provides an innovative teaching/learning tool, building on new technologies that allow self-learning methodologies. Combined with problem-based approaches and oriented guidance through the provision of topics for discussion, these blended methodologies contribute to skills development related to autonomy, time management and critical assessment. Students have access to an online platform where all resources supporting the course are uploaded and available. They also have access to an online discussion forum, allowing a more integrated dialogue between all students.

Learning Outcomes

General objective:

- Grounded knowledge on discourses and practices in the EU, linking them to the use of new technologies in the construction of knowledge spaces.

Specific objectives and skills:

- Understand and apply the various perspectives on processes of narrative-building;

- Analyse dynamics associated to the production/construction of discourses and to practices that highlight critical areas in EU’s actuation;

- Understand and analyze case studies on EU discourse and EU practice;

- Knowledge of new technologies and their impact in narrative-building, with applied cases related to the EU.
