Teaching Methods

The curricular unit will involve the presentation and discussion of international reference works by invited speakers, who will also provide comments on the research work being done by the students.

Learning Outcomes

The aim of the curricular unit is to promote the involvement of doctoral students in the discussion of advanced research on management. The discussion of international research of reference may involve researchers from the University of Coimbra and from other national institutions, but above all from international institutions. In addition to seminars on specific topics of Management, the seminars may also address cross-disciplinary themes such as new research tools in management and the process of publication in scientific journals. As a result of these seminars, doctoral students should develop a superior ability to conduct research of excellence.
