Recommended Prerequisites

Knowledge of Anthropometry, Physiology, Biomechanics and Methods of physical conditioning.Basic knowledge about sport training open the possibility to enlarge the dominion of studies to reach a higher level of coaching 

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies combine the theoretical exposition with work of analysys of the planning models and periodization of the training in the various modalities throughout a sports season. Video resources and plasnning software are used to familiarize students with the actual situation in the modalities.

Learning Outcomes

The unit aims to provide the student with the knowledge and competencies needed to plan, manage and assess the training loads in specialization and competitive contexts. 1.Concepts and principles of sports training; 2. Planning sports training; 3. The structure of the sports training; 4. The periodization of sports training.
