Recommended Prerequisites

To handle general knowledge about the organization of the Portuguese educational system at macro and meso level. To handle learning basic assumptions. 

Teaching Methods

Theoretical classes use a wide range of methods and pedagogical techniques, among which the methods of oral presentation, the syntheses carried out by the students, the work in a small group, the discussion of small texts, etc. are highlighted.

Practical classes are a fundamental component of the discipline and it seeks to prolong the theoretical problematizations and the confrontation with the results of available research, aiming for controlled experimentation and informed analysis. Its structure is based on adapted micro-teaching situations. 

Learning Outcomes

Developing basic competencies for identification and manipulation of criteria for planning quality in the school context, stimulating their critical and reflexive analysis applied to nuclear material contents of PE; master elementary forms of transposição didactic content for later apresentação prática as proposta de ensino.

To develop elementary competitions of pedagogical intervention, which promote climates favoráveis of aprendizagem, in school context.
