Teaching Methods

The aim is to reconcile an expository method with several pedagogical practices in order to promote a learning that allows the integration of the student in the context of the stages of initiation to cycling.

Learning Outcomes

Explain and apply the rules of the cycling regulation;Describes and differentiates the disciplines of cycling; describes and differentiates the stages of development of the practitioner. Identifies different types of bikes, materials, components and accessories; Employs methods of regulating the bicycle; Prepares and organizes exercises and training situations appropriate to the level of the practitioner and according to the available resources; Identifies and describes the factors associated with a safe sporting environment; Identifies, describes and applies procedures and techniques that allow risk minimization; management of emergencies, accidents, injuries and diseases; Identifies, describes and employs the tools associated with improving the rider's performance; Identifies and relates factors associated with understanding the rider in an effective training environment; Performs the analysis of the techniques and capabilities of cyclists; Identifies, describes, and applies factors.
