Learning Outcomes

- To publicize the multicultural heritage of traditional games;

- Revitalize the traditional ludic practice in the intra- and extra-school environment

- Identify the internal logic of traditional games and their formative potential;

- Implement their practice as a school educational environment through the development of pedagogical progression which lead to the acquisition of the specific skills of the game;

- Implement their practice as a recreational and free time occupation;

- Implement the game by the game;

- implement the traditional game as an introductory element of sports with equivalent interpersonal communication and motor base.

Syllabus

- The traditional game in the view of the Portuguese intellectuals;

- introduction to the Motor Praxiology;

- traditional game as a teaching tool;

- psychomotor activities: confection and experimentation bola de trapos, aro e gancheta, jogo dos bolos, burro, corrida de pedras;

- sociomotor activity of cooperation: jogo da pela ao alto, passa e ganha, jogo do caqueiro;

- sociomotor activity of cooperation-opposition: jogo da pela à parede; jogo da pela ao vai-e-vem, jogo da porca, jogo do emboca (2 x 2) (4 X 4), jogo do beto, o jogo do bete (an example of sportsmanship of a Portuguese traditional playful practice);

- sociomotor activity cooperation-oposition paradoxological: jogo bola sentada, jogo da bola caçadora, jogo do porco, jogo dos três campos;

- opposition sociomotor activity: tirar o pau, luta da Galhofa.
