Teaching Methods

Teaching sessions of collective nature with personal and collective guidance during situations of problem solving, repetition in exercises and training games. Independent study of the situations addressed. Observation and questioning student as a means of continuous evaluation.

Learning Outcomes

Know the main groups of standing and ground judo techniques and their basic tactical field of application. To be able to propose a progression of initiation to judo, having as main pedagogical tool the style of teaching by guided discovery, the principles of Judo and a lacquer of specific games that allow the repeated play of the solutions to the problems through the application of the techniques in context. In parallel to acquire a wide range of exercises and games of heating and strenght training without equipment.

Syllabus

Judo meaning, history, principles, rules. Critical components, exercises and application games: for falls, judo moving, backward projection techniques, forward projection techniques with two supports, forward projection techniques with one support leg, sweeping techniques, handholds , the techniques of immobilizations and turns in the ground. Tactics of attack and defense in the fight standing and on the ground. Initiation of the keys and strangles. Training methods (yakusoku geiko, uchi-komi, kakari-geiko of reduced games, randori) and pedagogical progression.
