Teaching Methods

The teaching practice includes regency and assistance to classes. The probationer student teaching in the cooperating supervisor's classes develops in two teaching modules, focussing on didactic units of Physics and Chemistry.

The interventions in school include the organization of diverse activities, participation in the works in progress, collaboration in support to students, organization of interdisciplinary activities and active participation in all meetings for which the probationer student is summoned or invited.

Syllabus

The syllabus:
1) are those deemed necessary for trainee learning and improvement, particularly in interrelationships between teaching and learning, in school interventions and in relationships of this with the environment, valuing continuous self-education in scientific, pedagogical-didactic and relational fields;
2) develop in the context of the integration of trainees in a class activities, undertaking tasks under the pedagogical practice assigned by the Cooperating and Scientific Supervisors;
3) include teaching and learning activities of physics and of chemistry and their interrelationships with other disciplines;
4) cover cultural, social, civic and ethical dimensions.
