Learning Outcomes

With this curricular unit it is intended that the student acquires a set of knowledge that allows him to make technical, methodological and strategic decisions, duly grounded, in the context of assessing the state of conservation and specific and global performance of the exterior environment (facades and roofs) modern buildings, as well as the corresponding rehabilitation project. It is essential that students acquire solid knowledge in the field of comparing solutions and materials and their suitability for specific cases, with different levels of complexity, so that they can play a decisive role in providing critical and well-founded advice on solutions proposed by the market, whether in a local perspective, whether international The student must also become familiar with the research methodologies associated with this theme, especially in the experimental domain, either in the laboratory or in loco, as well as with the sector's emerging challenges.
