Learning Outcomes

- Present in a critical manner the contemporary problematics and methodologies of Arts Research, namely in the context of practice-as-research.

- Discuss the main topics and theories in the study of artistic practices as well as their players and institutions.

- Develop analysis and discussion skills in the heterogeneous and interdisciplinary context of international research on the multiplicity of artistic phenomena in their social, cultural, and political aspects.

- Promote the development and implementation of projects of artistic creation and research in Art Studies for academic purposes and also to enhance scientific curricula by applying knowledge, methodologies, and skills adjusted to the unique features of each project.

- Articulate the previous goals with the fields of film and image studies, musical studies, and drama and performance studies.

- Explore links between artistic practices, art studies, and digital humanities.
