Teaching Methods

The unit is organized in seminars presented by invited researchers and in presentation and discussion of the 'work in progress' developed by students. Students must attend the seminars scheduled and participate in its discussions. Students must deliver a seminar report with ca. 30 pages, based on the topics covered in the seminars, or a short report from each of the seminars, each with 5 pages. The evaluation is based on the written work(s) and in students' participation in the seminars.

Learning Outcomes

This course aims to encourage students to deepen their critical skills based on their own search work for the 3rd cycle, encouraging them to discuss comparable problems.

The syllabus of this unit consist of a series of seminars presented by invited researchers in order to raise awareness and discuss recent research in the field of Biological Anthropology and related fields. The seminars are followed by discussions with the participation of the students.
