A sound methodological knowledge, ethnographic practices.

Teaching Methods

The Phd student will draw, with tutorial orientation, the plan and the schedule and will present publicly the results of her research, preferentially in a seminar session with her peers. This presentation will be evaluated in accordance by a scale of 20 points.

Learning Outcomes

This course unit is dedicated mainly to the construction and formalization of a research project, which implies to present a bibliographic grid and a well suited state of the art. It aims also to promote a public discussion with specialists in the chosen research field, to select and tune the appropriate methodologies, to reflect critically on the feasibility of the proposed project and on the ethical and social implications associated with it.

Organized as an annual course unit, the work of this unit is dedicated to the construction and formalization of a research project. This project is, in the present context, accompanied, supervised and discussed between peers.
