Teaching Methods

There will be seminars for the group reflection on the issues developed by the students,

as well as to the tutorial support from the supervisor in order to support the development of the research project, to be presented publicly and appreciated by a scientific panel .

Learning Outcomes

At the end, students should: - Prepare a research project that serves as a qualification for the development of PhD thesis - Present and defend publicly the PhD project before a scientific panel.

Syllabus

Preparation of the research project based on the following steps: Abstract (study’s summary, highlighting its innovative character and/or relevance and summarizing the work program); Keywords (focused on the study object); State-of-the-art (theme’s literature review, based on reference readings, indicating the main results of research in the study area, in order to develop the new work proposal presented); Objectives (Identifying key objectives to be achieved with the work’s development); Detailed description (study typology, characterization of the participants, specifying the research project phases, with reference to the instruments to build and validate and procedures used in the data collection and analysis); Expected Outcomes; Main References (APA Publication Manual); Chronogram.
