Teaching Methods

The teaching of this unit uses the expository method, problem solving and task development. In PL classes students will be divided into small groups (maximum of 3 students per group). Each student will have to perform the tasks inherent to each technique.

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit unit is the continuation of the curricular unit "Experimental Techniques 1".

It aims to provide students with skills on the use of different laboratory techniques, important in the context of experimental research. The student will develop skills to select the most appropriate techniques for each particular situation, on theoretical knowledge (understand, follow and correlate the knowledge of the subject). It should also develop the capacity to acquire knowledge autonomously, to integrate knowledge, and to have critical ability.
