Teaching Methods
The teaching of this unit uses the expository method, problem solving and task development. The student should prepare a document about a scientific topic, with introduction, objective, materials and methods (maximum 3500 characters) and bibliographic references up to a maximum of 5 references (APA or NP 405). Each student will present their work and review the work of two peers (based on peer review). After review, each student will correct the text and present the final version of the document.
Learning Outcomes
This Curricular will provide students with methods and techniques of scientific and technical writing and aims:
- To make known the method of bibliographic search and the norms for the writing of references
- To make known the care to achieve a good writing
- To explore the form and content of scientific and technical documents
- To warn about the dangers of plagiarism.
