Teaching Methods

The teaching of this unit uses the expository method, problem solving and task development. In PL classes the students will perform the morphological study of mice and rats.

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit provide students with information about the anatomy and physiology of animals with experimental interest in comparison to the human and aims to:

- compare the anatomical and physiological aspects of the various apparatus and systems of the animals taking into account the interests associated with the experimental pathology.

Comparative study of the structure and function of various devices and systems, especially in species with interest in experimental pathology.

Anatomy and physiology of various systems and organs: tegumentary system, locomotor system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, genitourinary system, nervous system, endocrine system and sense organs.
