Recommended Prerequisites

Acquired knowledge in the two curricular semesters of the first year of the cycle of studies.

Guided and accompanied work. Development and application of methodologies for solving practical problems.

Learning Outcomes

This alternative path to the completion of the Masters may be chosen by students who do not wish to make a traditional academic dissertation model or perform the alternative (Internship), but who intend to carry out a Project in the area of Occupational Health, which may present a direct applicability in its multiple areas of intervention and that aims at solving a problem or situation identified within an organization, company, industry or public or private entity with occupational hazards.

It is intended that the students develop as main skills:

-Ability to identify a practical problem with interest in a potential intervention in Occupational Health.

-Ability to use the main literature review methodologies and databases available at FMUC to provide a solid scientific basis for work.

-Capacity to interact with the various professionals of the institutions where the Project's is being developed.

Syllabus

The student who opts for the "Project", chooses a topic/real problem, with potential opportunity and feasibility, after meeting with the coordination of the study cycle, with the attribution of a supervisor that will accompany its development.
