Learning Outcomes
This curricular unit aims to give students the information about: the ecosystem of scientific research, in order to understand how and where scientific research develops at national and international level; how the knowledge generated is communicated to several interlocutors (communication between peers, non-specialized public, funding agencies); the norms of ethical conduct in scientific research.
Specific skills: Upon completing the curricular unit, the student should be able to know and distinguish the different steps, methodologies, interlocutors of scientific research, and also the methodologies of communication of the generated knowledge.
Students should also acquire the following General Competences: Ability to read, write and oral expression of scientific content. Ability to interpret scientific literature; Ability to solve practical problems; Ability to participate effectively in group work; Autonomous learning ability; Ability to investigate; Critical thinking.
