The course is expository. Some sessions of tutorials are provided.

Learning Outcomes

The main objective is to provide knowledge in the area of infinitesimal analysis, essential in the background of a engineer. The applications of this area are  targets always in mind and get special attention.

Syllabus

Study of real functions.

Limits. Continuity. Differentiation and integration in real line.

Improper integrals. Differential equations of the first order. Variables separable and linear.

Study of curves. Parametric equations and polar equations.
